Greed and selfishness, violence and turmoil, seem to characterize our times.  The theosophical worldview presents us with an ethic for living that leads to inner peace and outer action to aid humanity at this troubled time.

Joy Mills is past president of the Theosophical Society in America as well as of the Society in Australia; she also served as International Vice-President.  Now resident at the Krotona Institute of Theosophy, she continues to teach, conduct workshops, and lecture internationally for the Society.

May 14    Putting More Soul Into Our Work: Taking Out Stress, Putting In Love
Mike Whittey

This workshop will focus on healing work wounds and recognizing that work and creativity can be looked at in entirely new ways.  The possible application of Buddha’s psychology will be explored in small group discussion and sharing.  We will also consider how the meaning of our life’s work never ends and that work can be looked upon as worship.  Join us for a completely new way of looking at the work place, and your place in it.

Mike Whittey  is a professor at Seattle University, co-editor of Work and Spirit and author of Post-Modern Spiritual Future of Work and TechnoSpirit Cure for TechnoStress.

May 15 - June 5    Shamanic Work with the True Self ~ A three week class
Betsy Bergstrom

Everyone has an aspect of their lives that could be called the “True Self,” a spiritual part of ourselves that is at the divine core of our being. This series of workshops will not only provide us with increasing experience in meeting this spiritual component of ourselves, and shamanically traveling with it, but will help us to learn how we can grow by working with our True Self to improve our health, our self esteem and to actualize our future dreams.

CLASS DETAIL
Part 1    May 15,  Monday    7-9 pm
One of the safest ways to Shamanically travel is with our own True Self.  Even past "experiencers" will benefit from this workshop’s focus on meeting the True Self and journeying with it.

Part 2    May 22,  Monday    7-9 pm
We will experience a variety of ways in which we can work with the True Self to improve our health and self esteem.

Part 3    June 5,  Monday    7-9 pm
We will practice with our True Self on how to actualize our dreams.

A suggested weekly donation is $15 – 25.  As each week builds on the previous week’s work it is strongly recommended that all three classes be attended
