PRAYERS FOR THE NEW YEAR: THE CELTIC TRADITION
Karen Bruner
Drawing from the Carmina Gadelica of the Scottish Hebrides and other Irish,
Welsh, and Breton sources, long-time Celtic harper and storyteller, Karen
Bruner, will present a multitude of prayers, songs and stories from the Celtic
past and present, bringing forward thoughts and prayers which promote a positive
world view as we enter the New Year. This program will conclude with a brief
meditation with the Celtic harp as background, supporting the setting of the
intentions of both the group and the individuals present for an auspicious 2002.

THE WOMAN WITH THE ALABASTER JAR: MARY MAGDALEN & THE HOLY GRAIL
Margaret Starbird

out to refute it. Instead, as she researched the subject, she found new and
compelling evidence for the existence of the bride of Jesus. Starbird draws her
conclusions from an extensive study of history, heraldry, symbolism, medieval
art, mythology, psychology, and the Bible. Come explore and question this
provocative theory. Margaret has a masters degree and has studied at the
Christian Albrechts Universitat in Germany, and at the Vanderbilt Divinity
School in Nashville. Additional books are The Tarot Trumps and the Holy Grail;
and The Goddess in the Gospels.

Falcon, a Reform Rabbi with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, has explored the
interface of psyche and spirit for over 30 years. He founded meditational
synagogues in LA and Seattle (Bet Alef Meditational Synagogue; www.betalef.org)
and is author of A Journey of Awakening and Judaism For Dummies.

psychological and spiritual import in your birth chart, tied simply to whatever
its name is? Join Steve in a look at the weaver and the weave of astrology and
mythology. Steve is a local astrologer who synthesizes psychological astrology,
mythology and spiritual wisdom collected from various traditions.

An exploration of prophetic writings by the major poet of our times, W.B.
Yeats. Ann will discuss the problems and shortcomings of prophecy in general
and, as we look at modern times and modern prophecy, whether MIND has a place in
refiguring the Occurrence. Ann is a Jungian Analyst and a metaphysical teacher
with more than thirty years experience.

This one day workshop begins with a talk and an exercise for all to attune to their inner divinity, for from this source other contacts are best made. This leads on to communication with the intelligence of nature beings, with the plant Kingdom, continuing to the mineral and animal Kingdoms, and then to include contact with the members of the Angelic Kingdom. Emphasis is put on the nature contact as a vital help in dealing with human pollution of the planet. Time allowing, the question of good and evil and polarity is included.
Dorothy first rose to prominence as a co-founder of the Findhorn Community. She spent 11 years there exploring and blending with the Inner Realms. Author of several books on working with devic consciousness, much of her time today is spent giving talks and leading workshops worldwide.

The inner realms are a natural environment for us. They form part of the greater
world we all inhabit. The mode of engaging with the inner realm begins with
imagination. In this talk we will investigate the nature of the imagination that

arise and consider what must be added to imagination in order to engage the
subtle realm successfully. First recognized for his insights and work in the
Findhorn community, David is a NW teacher and author or more than a half dozen

senior minister of the Seattle First Baptist Church for 21 years before his
retirement in 2000. He now divides his time between speaking, writing and
leading retreats. He is known for his belief in the worth and dignity of all
people, the inherent oneness of all creation, and the universal, unconditional
love of God.
