What are retrograde planets and how to we use them to our best advantage? Most of us have them natally in our chart causing us to turn inward in certain areas of our lives. All of us deal with these energies when they arrive by transit. Previous astrology knowledge helpful but not necessary.  Bring your natal horoscope, if you have one.  It is, however, not required to enjoy the information presented.  Natal charts can be printed for you in the bookshop for $2.00 plus tax for anyone interested.  (But please don't wait until the last minute to get one printed !)

February 10    Laying a Firm Foundation

Minor Lile

It is an often overlooked idea that before embarking upon the spiritual journey, one should prepare oneself for the trip.  By exploring practices suggested by both Theosophy and Buddhism, people attending this program will have an opportunity to consider their own values and learn ways to be more firmly established and live in balance in a chaotic world.

February 17    Forgiveness -  THE FIRST STEP
Tim Jenkins, M.A., Jan Santora, M.A., L.M.H.C.

Anyone who has been on a spiritual journey has heard at some time, probably many times, that forgiveness is a necessary part of our growth and essential for our healing and that of the world. Yet what exactly does forgiveness mean? How is it done? Is it worth it? Are there actions and even people who are beyond forgiveness? Can it harm you to forgive? This workshop will explore the topic, including the questions above, and offer a technique by which you can take the first essential step in finding your own answers to this vital matter.

Tim Jenkins, M.A. is a marriage and family therapist and teacher with a private practice in Redmond and Seattle, specializing in individual, couple and family therapy, divorce coaching, aging issues and dream work.

Jan Santora, M.A., L.M.H.C.  is a spiritual counselor, psychotherapist and consultant in private practice since 1993, who specializes in life transition with individuals, couples and adult family members in Seattle and Whidbey Island.

February 24    Gnosticism
Ken Keach

Gnosis is a direct transforming experience left untamed and unconditioned by cultural and socio-religious beliefs,' the state prior to the interpretation of the experience,' unconfined by concepts and images. It arises in a quiet mind, in a dimension not touched by chronological time. We find it when we are fully in the present.
Please come and explore Gnosis:
~God is incomprehensible in totality, however we may know about "God" through study of the Universe and Ourselves.
~Inspiration is a product of a relationship with a Greater Intelligence and is the ultimate source of all Knowledge.
~There is only One Truth and the Religions of the World are but facets of its expression. The Ultimate Source of Divine Authority is the Individual.

Ken has had wide training in various esoteric sun Buddhist Christian & Anthroposophical traditions. He was ordained as a Gnostic Priest and Bishop. He also holds various Martinist Masonic and French Co-Masonic Degrees.
