HEALING BLOCKS TO HEALING
Ned Wolfe

Author of Awaken Your Power to Heal, he has studied the role of energy in healing throughout his career.

THE UNIVERSE, LIFE & EVOLUTION
Sandor Szabados
The current view in biology is that evolution is non-intelligent, naturalistic (i.e., solely the result of natural causes) and purposeless, and that human beings evolved from lower life forms by accident. Sandor will present the key arguments supporting the theory of Intelligent Design, a relatively new body of thought making some large waves in the scientific world, which claims that existence as we know it cannot be called accidental. Supported by recent discoveries in the natural sciences, Intelligent Design has gained support from some of the top scientists in the world. Sandor, who has his MA in the History of Science and who has taught at the University of Honduras, has made this a subject of focus for decades.

IF MORNING NEVER COMES: A NDE
Bill VandenBush
Many of us have heard about the phenomenon of dying and coming back into our body, called the “near-death experience”. What would it be like to die in the midst of combat and then returned changed? Those of us who have heard Bill speak know that his account of what happened to him on April 17, 1969, after months of fighting in Vietnam, is one of the most amazing stories of this kind you’ll ever hear. Bill is the author of If Morning Never Comes, and has appeared on radio and TV programs all over the country.

RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS OF TRANSFORMATION:
AN ILLUSTRATED LECTURE
Martin Leiderman
Religions throughout history use symbols to express the Divine Wisdom. Symbols, through their geometrical forms, colors, numerical patterns and compositions, speak directly to our Soul. H.P. Blavatsky, in her writings which draw upon the Great Religions of East and West, provides various KEYS of interpretation of these symbols. This guidance reveals the history and illuminates the future of the Kosmos – and of Humanity in search of Spiritual transformation. In this lecture, these symbolic keys will be presented and illustrated in the form of Gods and Goddesses, Angels, Temples and Mandalas, taken from sources of ancient and modern religions, mystery schools, Kabala, Alchemy and other sources. Martin is a national and international speaker for the Theosophical Society, well known for his ability to make abstract, metaphysical ideas accessible to a participating audience.
Martin will be presenting an intensive workshop for members of the Theosophical Society from Friday night, April 30th through noon on May 2nd.

WHERE DRAGONS DANCE
Magical Strings in Concert
With dancing hammers and pulsating strings, Philip and Pam Boulding create the distinctive music of Magical Strings, described by The Washington Post as “warm, graceful and sonically gorgeous.” A tightly-knit blend of Celtic harps and hammered dulcimers are colorfully augmented by pennywhistles, concertina, valiha (Malagasy harp) and storytelling. Their energetic arrangements of Celtic music and their own engaging compositions intertwine Celtic roots with classical and world music influences. They have toured and recorded with Dan Fogelberg, appeared on “A Prairie Home Companion,” performed sold out tours in Japan, and won several awards in Ireland. Philip also builds harps and offers classes in Seattle, while Pam teaches music and painting at Waldord schools. Their music is rooted in a spiritual life that embraces many traditions, and is inspired by the beauty of nature.

A Day Long Workshop with David
Spangler
Suggested Donation: $45.00 - $65.00
(Lunch Included)
This one-day workshop with David Spangler focuses on ways of engaging through our inner spirit and energy with collective issues in society and in the world. Such issues might be political, economic, environmental or social – or may arise from natural or humanly created disasters. There is no substitute for physical engagement, and this workshop is not about retreating from the world. It is, however, about ways of expanding our engagement to bring to bear non-physical resources and capacities that we also have within us. Not everyone is called by temperament or circumstance to be an outer activist, but everyone shares the collective fields of energy which humanity is creating. From that shared space, we each can act in positive, non-adversarial, and compelling ways. This workshop explores how we may do this.
First recognized for his work and insights in the development of the Findhorn community, David has continued as a NW teacher, author, and participant in the Lorian Association. He lectures and leads workshops throughout this region, urging us to become active participants in the multiple levels of our consciousness.
The Seven Rays:
An Adventure in Self-Discovery
Friday June 11th 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
An Introductory Friday Night Lecture by
William Meader
Saturday, June 12th Day Long workshop:10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Suggested Donation $45.00 to $65.00 (lunch included)
According to Esoteric Philosophy, all of creation comes into being through the interaction of seven great streams of energy (Rays). These Rays condition all life upon our planet and every human being is subject to their influence. From a spiritual perspective, an understanding of the Seven Rays may be crucial, for it is said that every Soul is found upon one of these divine Rays. To understand one’s Soul Ray is to discover one’s essential nature and spiritual purpose in Life. In short, there are seven types of Souls, each having a particular quality seeking to be expressed in the outer world.
The Friday night session will be introductory. Those interested in the Sunday workshop will be asked to fill out a questionnaire at the end of the evening, which William will review, and comment on before the workshop to help each participant more fully understand their own Ray. (Those wishing to attend on Sunday may pick up a questionnaire in library or bookshop, filling it out and returning it by Friday evening.) It is not necessary to attend the workshop in order to come to the introductory session.
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
*Discover the unique ray nature of their Soul & the divine purpose it seeks to express (Questionnaire used: Seven Ray Inventory)
* Acquire a wealth of theoretical & practical information on each of the seven rays
* Ascertain a key to their spiritual transformation by understanding the relationship between Soul Ray and Personality Ray
* Discover how to relate more effectively with others by considering their distinctive ray patterns.
For over 20 years, William Meader has been a student and teacher of the Esoteric Philosophy. Much of his work has been focused on the subjects of White Magic, Esoteric Astrology and the Science of the Seven Rays. He is also an experienced teacher of various meditation practices. At present he is teaching in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He resides in California and can be reached at: www.william@meader.org.
On Sunday, June 13, William will lead a 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm workshop on Esoteric Astrology at the Interfaith Church in Ballard (1763 NW 62nd. Seattle, 98107 206.783.1618 www.interfaithcommunitychurch.org )
